There are multiple locations to volunteer. Our Orphanage Adoption Centers (Chino Hills, Claremont, Costa Mesa, City of Industry) and our Vet Clinic will require you to attend orientation at the location you choose but you will be able to volunteer at the other locations once you have completed the orientation.

Occasionally, it might be necessary to call volunteers for special events or to ask for additional help. Would it be okay to call you when this happens?

The Orphanage doesn't open until noon. There is a daily crew of people that go in the morning (between 730am and 9am) to clean, feed, and walk the animals and they always need more help. Are you available during this time?

By clicking on the "I Agree" button below, you agree to the following: I authorize Priceless Pets to seek emergency medical treatment in case of an accident, injury or illness. I agree to abide by the policies and procedures presented to me at the volunteer orientation and training meetings. I will take ideas, constructive comments, suggestions and criticism directly to the Shelter Operations Director and agree to be supervised by the Shelter Operations Director. If communication problems develop between employees and myself, as a volunteer I will report these to the Shelter Operations Director as soon as possible. I understand that Priceless Pets’ records regarding previous and new owners are to be kept confidential. I agree to work as a volunteer bases, and at anytime my services may no longer be needed. I understand that if I am injured while acting as an unpaid member of the volunteer staff, I am not covered by the California State, Worker’s Compensation Law.

In consideration for being permitted by Priceless Pet Rescue to participate as a volunteer, I hereby agree that I will assume full responsibility for the death, personal injury or property damage suffered or sustained to me as a result of or in connection with my participation as a volunteer. I agree, therefore, to indemnify Priceless Pet Rescue from and against all liability, claims, demands, damages, judgments and costs for or arising from the death or personal injury of myself or damage to my property suffered or sustained by me as a direct or indirect result of the my participation as a volunteer; even if such death, personal injury or property damage arises out of the negligence Priceless Pet Rescue (or any of its employees, volunteers or officers). I further agree that I will not make any claim against, sue, attach the property of, or prosecute Priceless Pet Rescue (or any of its employees, volunteers or officers) for any death, personal injury or property damage, whatever the cause or place of the event giving rise to the claim, which I may suffer or sustain as a result of or in connection with my participation as a volunteer. In addition, I hereby release and discharge Priceless Pet Rescue (and its employees, volunteers or officers) from all actions, claims or demands that I now have or may hereafter have for any death, personal injury or property damage arising out of or in connection with my participation as a volunteer. This release of liability is intended to discharge in advance, Priceless Pet Rescue (and its employees, volunteers or officers) from and against any and all liability to me or to any person claiming under, through or on behalf of either of us arising out of or connected in any way with my participation as a volunteer; even though that liability may arise out of negligence on the part of Priceless Pet Rescue (and its employees, volunteers or officers). I further understand that the behavior of domestic animals is sometimes unpredictable and that some domestic animals are capable of inflicting serious personal injury or death, as well as extensive property damage. Knowing the risks of handling domestic animals, nevertheless, I hereby agree to assume those risks and to release, indemnify and hold harmless Priceless Pet Rescue and the persons mentioned above who might otherwise be liable to me or my heirs or assignees for damages. I also hereby acknowledge that any medical attention that may be needed arising from any physical injury that I may sustain during my time working under a volunteer capacity will not be reimbursed financially by Priceless Pet Rescue. I am solely responsible for carrying insurance and the responsibility for so doing. In the event of an emergency, I give Priceless Pet Rescue my permission to call an ambulance and/or seek emergency medical attention if they so feel necessary. It is understood and agreed that this Indemnity, Waiver and Release of Liability is intended to be binding on me and my heirs, distributes, legal representatives or assignees. I represent that I am over eighteen years of age and/or have full permission from a previously identified parent or guardian.

In the pursuit of its objectives, Priceless Pet Rescue finds it useful to use the services of volunteers, contract, employees, and other outside regular staff. Not infrequently, these individuals will be permitted to use and see books, records, computer data and programs, and other information deemed by Priceless Pet Rescue to be its property and, therefore, proprietary. This information includes, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, donor and membership information, volunteer identification information, planning documentation, computer programs, operational financial background information and current financial material. In executing this document I recognize the proprietary nature of this property. I promise that I shall not convert or use this proprietary property in any manner or for any purpose not authorized by Priceless Pet Rescue.
